Could use a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and a microwave, admired views of city. Staff were friendly and helpful as well as the host...

The property had a nice kitchenette, perfect for pretending to cook when I really just wanted to order takeout. And the free WiFi saved me from having to interact with real people.
I loved feeling lost in a sea of shops, but the property could've used a sign or two. I mean, who needs directions?

Quiet atmosphere, magnificent location really close to the canal, the park and old city of Lille and city centre. Amicable staff, and the best host ever. Location away from train stations.

The owner, Hervé, was really nice and helpful. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the old town where all the awesome cafes and bars were. We had a blast exploring the art galleries and old buildings in Lille. Plus, it was so easy to get around without a car, thanks to the metro and trains. Paris was just an hour away by train!
The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene near the hotel. We're young party-goers and it would have been even more fun if there were more bars and clubs nearby.

The decor was tasteful and the room was very comfortable. The price-quality ratio was one of the best I have experienced. The location was perfect, with just a short walk to the Grand Place and the train station. It was also situated in a quiet residential area close to the main park in Lille.
Although the property was initially dirty upon my arrival, the owner quickly sent a cleaner to resolve the issue. Additionally, the narrow staircase and low ceilings may be challenging for some guests.

Great central location in the heart of the city, close to all the main attractions and restaurants. the room was clean and tidy upon arrival, with fresh towels and a comfortable bed. - the staff were friendly and helpful, providing a smooth check-in process.
The room was a bit smaller than expected, making it difficult to store larger suitcases and there was a lack of wardrobe space for clothes. There was some noise coming from the corridor and neighboring rooms, which could be bothersome at times.

The owner was so communicative and excellent to deal with, speaking English very well. The location was great, away from train stations but within walking distance to restaurants and the gorgeous old town. The studio apartment was tastefully renovated with a good quality bed and furnishings. The shower was clean with a curtain, and fresh towels were provided. The kitchenette was very clean and the coffee pod machine was a cut above. The apartment had a cozy, warm feeling and was nicely decorated. The owner was friendly and mindful, and personalized services like my name on the door made me feel special. a pleasant, snug little apartment in a quiet area but still very close to downtown. The bed was comfortable, the wifi worked really well, and I had a fantastic stay.

This hotel is in a great location, right in the old town and within walking distance from the city center. the room is nicely decorated and clean, with a comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen. the host is friendly and helpful, and there are nice touches like unlimited coffee and toiletries in the bathroom.
The decor in the room may not be to everyone's taste, as it is a bit dark and heavy.

We had a delightful stay at a characterful apartment in a fantastic location! The owner, Herve, was incredibly friendly and provided us with excellent tips for things to see and places to eat. The apartment itself was cozy and full of charm, with plenty of lamps to brighten up the space. We loved that it was just a short walk to the old town, making it easy for us to explore. Parking was also readily available and affordable, which was a bonus. We felt welcomed and well taken care of during our stay.
